Basic American Foods Business Portraits

I was recently given the opportunity to work with the employees of Basic American Foods' Research and Development department. While most of them are more familiar with lab coats and hair nets, they realized the benefit of having professional business portraits for use in social networking. Many were unable to be at our first session, so I'm looking forward to meeting the rest at a makeup session!

Orchard Wedding

*Go here to see Part 2 of this beautiful wedding!

Those of you who have been around awhile, or who follow us on Facebook, know that Kaili and Justin have been making appearances here for quite awhile. In fact, they are the reason I finally started up a blog and made this thing official! I've always joked that they were my mascots. :-)

What a wonderful thing to be part of someone's life, if even in a small way. I began taking pictures of these two not long after they started dating. I got to be there when he picked her up for several of their high school dances. I got to take them out for a full-blown Senior portrait session. I got to design their graduation announcements. I was privileged to take them out for a couple more sessions after they were engaged. I designed their wedding announcement.

And now, I am very excited to share with you a piece of their special day. Thank you, Kaili and Justin, for letting me be a part, however small, of your beautiful love story!

Aubrey & Chris {Idaho Falls High School Dances}

 It's been a year since I was last able to take some pre-dance portraits, and I had forgotten how much fun it can be! Aubrey and Chris were so much fun. It was crazy to see the difference in their heights! And kinda fun to play around with that too. They are both super outgoing which made these pictures so much more fun. Take a look at Aubrey and Chris, getting ready for Idaho Falls High's Commencement 2012!

Ian Connor {Idaho Falls Newborn Photography}

I've always had the hardest time getting around to taking photos of my own newborns. Typically, the best time to do a newborn session is from birth to 10 days. After that they curl up less, and sleep less deeply, making it difficult to get some of the cute poses that are so popular today.

True to form, it took me almost 2 weeks to get around to setting up for my little man's first photo session. He was wiggly, refused to bend his little legs, and did not sleep through all of it. But despite the lack of variety in poses, backdrops, and props, I'm in love of these first images of my little man! Here is Ian Connor at 13 days!
