Christmas Portraits

We decided this year called for some new portraits of the kids to be used for Christmas gifts...Well, I decided, and they fought it every step of the way! But we managed to get a small handful of nice pictures of them (and some that just make me laugh), despite their reluctance to cooperate! I think having a photographer for a mom has ruined them for life! :-)

These portraits are from a couple years ago when I was just getting started with portrait photography. They include some of my favorite subjects: Family!

The first three photos make me smile every time. These two cousins were born a few weeks apart, and have been close friends ever since. Apparently that doesn't make kissing okay. :-)

 This one won 1st place in our local State Fair photography contest! :-)

Kaili & Justin - Homecoming 2009

This is the first time I was asked to take photos before a high school dance, and it was so much fun! Kaili and Justin have since asked me to do several more of their dances (they're sort of my blog mascots ;) and I can't wait to get word out so I can enjoy the excitement of high school dances with other clients as well.
